EM-DAT: Emergency Events Database

What were the deadliest disasters world-wide, or in a given country, and when did they occur?
Based on the Emergency Events Database EM-DAT maintained by the Collaborating Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED), we created a dataset that can directly be loaded into TreeMap. It contains information on the occurrence and effects of over 16,000 mass disasters in the world from 1900 to present.
