US Budget Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART)
How to rate the effectiveness of all federal programs to make sure they were accountable and achieved results?
To help answer this complex question, we used the data compiled for the
Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART) by the
Office of Management and Budget and
created a dataset than can directly be loaded into
TreeMap.
It contains information about factors such as program purpose and design; performance measurement, evaluations,
and strategic planning; program management; and program results. Because it includes a consistent
series of analytical questions, it allows programs to show improvements over time, and allows comparisons
between similar programs.
